WHAT IS MOVEMENT LONGEVITY?

Movement longevity (or athletic longevity) means enjoying ease of movement throughout your life, without burning out or breaking down. Movement longevity is about:1

  • Quality of life,
  • The ability to move freely without pain or restriction, and
  • The ability to learn new things and keep expanding your horizons.

To maintain a physically active lifestyle over the years, you need to understand your body’s natural rhythms, and recognise when it needs time to regenerate and heal. The periods of stress and periods of recovery should be properly balanced.1

ATHLETIC LONGEVITY VS. ATHLETIC INTENSITY

Did you know that the average career of a professional athlete is only 5 to 10 years long? This is because many professional sports don’t place a focus on longevity and wellness. Injuries, trauma and mental stress all take their toll, causing burnout in many athletes.1

If you’re looking to enjoy strong sports performance and ease of movement at every stage of life, the key is to:1

  1. Harmonise the vital systems of your body, and
  2. Strengthen your body’s regeneration abilities.

Low-level laser light therapy with coMra can help you achieve this. coMra supports your body on a cellular level, and allows you to work just as hard on your recovery as you work on building your speed, strength and endurance.1

coMra devices use a combination of 4 powerful radiances – infrared laser, ultrasound, magnetism and colour LEDs – to help regenerate depleted cells 2 to 3 times more efficiently.1

A recent coMra webinar will give you valuable insight into movement longevity. Michail Tsvetanov, a movement practitioner, and Dr Arzhan Surazakov, Director of R&D at Radiant Life Technologies, discuss coMra and its ability to provide energy for your movement practice.1

SPORTS PREPARATION AND RECOVERY WITH coMra

gymProtocol 1 : PREPARATION

Use this protocol before a workout, training session or sporting event. It targets key organs and arteries, to support the areas of your body that supply blood and oxygen to your muscles. The Preparation protocol can be done first thing in the morning, or before a physical activity. You can use it daily during a training cycle, or use it for support as needed.2

Protocol 2: RECOVERY

This protocol gives you post-training support, and helps you to recharge between same-day training sessions. It also promotes good quality sleep. Use the Recovery protocol after a training session, or in the evening before bed.2

NOTE: coMra is a powerful modality. The uses described above are those recommended by the coMra User Guide. Experience over 10 years has shown that in the case of most chronic conditions, treatments can also be spread out to once or twice per week, without taking the breaks outlined in the guide.
